The location is fantastic, close to the train station with various food spots around, including an affordable Indian restaurant and a supermarket nearby. The room itself had a cleverly disguised fridge, a nice surprise .
The bathroom was quite cramped, and the shower only offered warm water while the sink had only cold. Low lighting, and the terrace was disappointingly small with no seating available. Early check-out at 10:30 was a bit of a hassle, especially when most places allow for a noon departure. Housekeeping left used cups behind for multiple days, and even though I asked for milk for tea, it seemed like a hassle to get.

Loredana and her family run the hotel and are extremely helpful with directions and hints for seeing the local attractions. The breakfast is typical European but had plenty of variety to satisfy our family.
The AC went off after a certain time and we woke up quite warm the first night. The second night we opened the window before we went to bed and were comfortable temperature wise, but our room faced the front street and it was quite noisy with the window open.

The hotel was near Termini Station.
The payment must be done in cash; Breakfast is very poor, with no fresh food; The elevator is old; The internet it's only available near reception lobby.

We found Hotel Maryelen very easily from the Stazione Termini. Location was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were happy to assist with making museum reservations, explaining directions to local attractions, and gave useful restaurant suggestions.
Although the complientary breakfast had tasty pastries, meats, bruscheta, tomatoes and cheese, I would like fresh fruits as well.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. The room was very nice - big, new and very clean. Very close to everything. 3min from Termini, 20 min from the main attractions. It was great.
I liked everything.

The cleverly camouflaged fridge turned out to be a great surprise , offering convenience for those late-night snacks. Plus, the spot is easy to navigate, with local eateries just around the corner like an affordable Indian restaurant and other food spots.
I faced a few issues, like a broken plug near the bed, which forced me to charge my phone across the room. The bathroom left something to be desired with its cramped feel, limited to warm water from the shower, while a broken shower added to my frustrations after a long day of travel. The early check-out time at 10:30 a.m. was like another hassle, especially since most places give you until noon.

Had a great stay! The location close to Termini was perfect for us. The room was cozy with a cleverly hidden fridge, and we loved the fresh, varied breakfast. Just a heads-up, the bathroom felt a bit cramped.

The staff were really helpful and willing to assist if required.
I didn't like not having any telephone in the room or access to one in the lobby/reception area.

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. We checked out early in the morning but they let us leave our suitcases there all day. When we came back for them, they let us use their free wireless even though we weren't technically staying there anymore. The room was very clean and had everything we needed and for a really great price.

Everything about this hotel is great. Location is just a couple of minutes away from Termini station. Staff is very friendly and speaks both english and italian. Room was very clean and quiet during the night. Continental breakfast was nice, and capuccino was excellent. Definetly recommend this family run hotel and will stay again when returning to Rome. Keep it up :)
